Nothing but the breakfast of champions for my bestest girl! Great run this morning. She’s not a fan of the garbage trucks, loose timing belts, screeching brakes, or fire trucks. And ANY intersection we cross warrants a full sprint to the other side. I think it’s the herding nature she has.
Sinatra: C’mon! We have to get across as fast as possible!
Me: Why? Slow down!
Sinatra: Because- no slowing down!
Me: Why?
Sinatra: Whew, we made it!
Me: Barely, but yeah. Maybe we don’t have to cross every intersection that way?
Sinatra: But we have to get across fast.
Me: You still haven’t said why?
Sinatra: Because we have to be first.
Me: We are the only ones out here.
Sinatra: And we are the fastest!
Me: Ummm…. Ok.
Sinatra: I like winning. It’s basically my superpower.
Me: Sometimes slow and steady wins the race.
Sinatra: I think someone made that up for people that can’t go fast like me. Luckily you have me.
